In the late 90s, Block found UK Top 5 chart success in the guise of the Blockster with "You Should Be'", a revamped house version of the Bee Gees disco classic "You Should Be Dancing", but he has been a stalwart behind the decks ever since the acid house explosion of 1988.
Back then he could be found playing at Broadway Boulevard in Ealing, London. He moved on to his own Sunday night at Haven Stables in Ealing, which was a popular fixture until it ended in 1991. His DJing career really took off in collaboration with Flying Records, promoting Queens in Colnbrook, Berkshire in 1990.
In the same year, he first visited the Spanish island of Ibiza, where he became an essential part of the summer's festivities. Over the years, Block's residencies have included: Up Yer Ronson in Leeds, F. U. B. A. R. at the Milk Bar in London, Club for Life in London, Malibu Stacey in London and Scream in Plymouth.
He regularly plays at all the major clubs in the UK and internationally, and performed at the hand-over party in Hong Kong in 1997. He has recorded two successful mix compilation albums for the Fantazia label and has a highly successful radio show on the UK's Kiss 100 with Alex P
